Chasing clear skies under southern stars
I’m an astrophotographer based in the AU, chasing clear skies across Australia to photograph the night sky. What started as pointing a camera at the Moon turned into deep-sky imaging - stacking hours of light to reveal galaxies, nebulae and star clusters that are invisible to the naked eye (so cool!).
Every image here is the result of many nights under the stars: planning around the Moon and weather, hours of exposure, and careful processing to draw out faint detail while keeping the data honest. Drag the before / after slider on any photo to see the journey from a single raw frame to the finished image.
